These are a few of my favorite things

A product post!

When it comes to things - I consider myself somewhat of a research queen. I will spend weeks (sometimes months) researching everything from shampoo to underwear to bed sheets. Big purchase or small, I want to know everything there is to know before making a commitment (is this a trend?). It's a blessing and a curse - sometimes I find AMAZING products and sometimes a thousand great reviews are bullshit and I get stuck with an expensive product that does nothing.

Here is a very random list of products I love. And by love, I mean I wouldn't want to live without. I will definitely do more of these posts so I'm just going to start with my five absolute favorites. The game-changers, if you will.

BURST Oral Care Toothbrush Subscription

I could stop right here with this list. This toothbrush was a game-changer for me. I was a die-hard sonicare girl for years (i'm talking 20 years) and then I decided I wanted to get into the land of subscription tooth-brushing. At the time, my options were quip and BURST. The look and feel of quip was not for me and then BURST throws out a video of a dentist brushing corn on the cob?! I needed to try it. And let me tell you. Best. Decision. Ever. Since falling in love with mine, I have convinced three people to switch over. One said she felt the head was a bit small. Another said his tongue went numb from the power. But both are still using it so i'm going to take it as a win. They often have discount codes too, so don't buy it full price!

Dyson Cordless Stick Vacuum - My model: V6 Animal

Ok, y'all. THIS VACUUM IS MAGICAL. It is the single best purchase I have made as an adult female with unnecessarily long hair. I tell you this thing sucks my hair out of any carpet along with all the dust and grossness that is living in the deep beyond. If I remember correctly, I purchased mine from the Dyson website and it came with all of these free attachments which make it possible to clean literally anything with this bad boy. No really, anything. My cousin called me one day and was vacuuming her toaster with it. Beyond that, it is so lightweight and can fit anywhere, charges relatively quickly, and it's not ugly. Shoutout to Janet introducing me to this wonderful machine. I can't imagine my life without it.

STANCE socks

Yes, socks. Stop living a life full of mediocre footwear, people! Good shoes and good socks are important. My sock of choice: STANCE. Mainly because they fit my feet amazingly, they have fun designs, and (the big one) i can usually get them at TJ Maxx for a fraction of the original price. I wear these socks for everything. The high ones for the gym, the low ones with my hightops, and the invisibles with my TOMS and Converse. I have SO MANY that I am starting to worry. But I truly love them and the snob in me refuses to wear any other brand -- except BOMBAS but I only have one pair of those because they are so darn expensive.

Vitamix Blender - My Model: A2500 Ascent Series (renewed)

Y'all. Yes, I know it is insanely expensive. Save up, put it on your wish list, buy it refurbished, whatever it takes friends, this is the holy grail of blenders. I have tried almost every other brand and nothing crafts a smoother smoothie than a Vitamix. Don't let anyone tell you that a Ninja works just as well - they lie. It can get confusing because there are so many different models. I have had the chance to use three of those models - one of which is the one I own. A friend of mine has the Explorian which she purchased from Costco and my cousin has the Pro-Series 750 (this one is everything). All of them work beautifully. I only chose the A2500 because it had a smoothie setting - priorities. Just buy it. I promise you'll be happy you did.

and last... but most certainly not least...

Xtava Hair Dryer

If you're anything like me, a good hair dryer is an important part of your getting ready process. I have very long and somewhat thick hair (it was much thicker before 30 hit) that takes forever to dry after it's been washed. I found this hair dryer about four years ago and it has literally cut my drying time in half. My friends make fun of me because I don't ever travel without my Xtava. But i'm telling you, it's absolutely worth the space in my carry-on. I got mine on sale on Black Friday so it ended up costing me about $30. It works just as amazingly today as it did the day I got it and I couldn't be more obsessed with this thing. It would have been worth it even at full price.

There you have it, folks. The material things that make my world go 'round. My absolute must-haves for every household, big or small. Life-tested and Aisha-approved. I hope you love them as much as I do!

My next product post will be full of shampoos, cleansers, and all the products that make my skin and my hair the happiest. I'm always on the look-out for better skin and hair care so if you have suggestions, drop me a line!
